I hope everyone had decent or fine or uneventful or blissful or delicious or quiet or joyous or relaxing Mother’s Days and that no one had completely shitty, exhausting, or straight up traumatic ones, but if you did, we’ve all been there ❤️
My sister and I spent the weekend mostly being food nerds and (between two nights because we’re coastal grandmothers) watched The Idea of You, the rom-com that is a ROM-COM about a divorced mother in her early forties falling for the lead singer in a boy band, á la Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles.
I have thoughts! And here there are in no particular order.
