I still can't believe it
This essay has been percolating for a few months now, and I'm still not even sure my thoughts are coherent, but this makes sense given what I'm writing about, which is me somehow writing a novel. Every time I even say to myself, I wrote a novel, I feel like I'm weaving some sort of dark magic. It feels chemically impossible.
