I (mostly) quit social media but I'm still killing time online
Plus the beauty of dark kid lit, the problem with culty docs, and a shocking realization about the most common of household objects
I’m here to happily say that I have greatly reduced my reliance on scrolling social media as a procrastination tool and as a panacea for whatever might be ailing me in the moment, BUT I’ve found that I’ve replaced Instagram et al with another screen activity, albeit probably a less potentially harmful one. And I’m NOT happy to say that it’s sort of fucking with me. More specifically: my time and the [mis]management of that time.
