She’s a conventionally attractive woman playing into our cultural fantasy of leisured domestic bliss. It’s all so - straightforward.
Nara Smith is also a model repped by IMG (as is her husband, Lucky Blue Smith), and her videos are carefully orchestrated and boast a glossy production value. Some of her videos are “get ready with me” videos, some are “come shopping with me” videos, but most are “watch me cook something very labor intensive and elaborate” videos. Smith narrates her directions in a calm, un-rushed voice, and both the combination of her mellow vocals and the lush visuals of the videos make her content ideal for ASMR.
Is Nara Smith a trad wife? I’m not sure. But I think our eagerness to answer this question is more interesting than the question itself.
