Ever since I wrote last year’s Unaesthetically Pleasing Gift Guide, I’ve looked forward to writing another, and today I’m writing it on MY BIRTHDAY, which honestly is a wonderful gift to myself. Few things bring me more joy than compiling a list of Ugly Shit I Love.

And also this.

To celebrate my multitudes this year though, and to give a little nod to my eternal interest in the intersection of Pretty/Ugly, today’s list will be an even split down the middle between totally gorgeous stuff and totally heinous stuff. BECAUSE BOTH ARE NECESSARY. So first, I’ll share 5 of the prettiest things I desperately want, and I’ll end with 5 of the ugliest things that make my life infinitely easier/better/safer/chiller and less stained.
