(I am obviously catching up on your newsletter this morning) I love this piece SO MUCH AND CANNOT WAIT FOR YOUR BOOK. The Gwyneth to Taza trajectory makes so much sense. And so much of the pursuit is also about pursuit of consumption -- I think I’ve spent more time trying to achieve the aesthetic of these Cool Moms than anything else? Fascinated by all of this.
Always pursuing quiet time alone. And I am totally ignorant of most momfluencers but I am totally into *your* read on them. KEEP IT UP! P.S. for my own writing & research recently I found that Gwyneth had PPD with her 2nd baby. So even Gwyneth didn't feel like idyllic Gwyneth-with-Apply the 2nd time around. I don't know what I'm saying but it's maybe interesting to note!
I literally made a hair appointment friday to get a cut and blonding after being reminded of J Berinholtz's hair on your twitter. So, that is what I aspire to. I think the length of her hair is more mature and real-world than the other momfluencers. The blonding, however, is unattainable.
