Oh god, I can’t even get past “wish they could clone themselves.” Completely valid for single parents. But if you’re a married/partnered mom, you don’t need to clone yourself YOU ALREADY HAVE A PARTNER. Who can research the fucking birthday cakes. And do the laundry. Etc.

Ahh the "asking for help" rationale makes me furious. The "struggle to let go of control and let someone else take the reins"! How about we "let" partners and the government take the reins?

“As parents, we tend to hold on to a false narrative that we should feel guilty to ask for help, to delegate, and to create more time for ourselves.”

This self-serving drivel particularly chaps my ass because I wouldn’t at all feel guilty about asking for help, delegating, or creating more time for myself. The issue is that (a) there’s no one to ask for help and (b) I’ve delegated as much as my budget will allow, which means (c) creating more time for myself isn’t possible.

It’s not about guilt, it’s about resource constraints, which this app makes worse. You know what else $249 per month could buy you? Babysitting. House cleaning. Retail therapy. Actual therapy. Literally anything would be better than spending $249 on this.
